Donna Lanni

My passion is to help people in all aspects of their life and to help them rediscover their true essence.

My  intuitive relationship with yoga began in the 1970s as I allowed my body to guide me into shapes that helped to balance my mind and spirit as a traumatized child, teenager, and young adult. My practice deepened 30 years ago and, under the tutallge of Ananda Marga Acharyas, I began teaching  traditional Hatha/Tantra yoga from my home and to groups in Fairbanks, Alaska. I “officially” received my first  500 hour certification through the Samudra School of Living Yoga under the guidance of Shiva Rea at the age of 55. Throughout this time, I was introduced to the science and medicine of yoga called Ayurveda and received great healing from this ancient practice of wellness. I received my 500 hour certification from both the Ayurvedic Institure and the New Mexico School of Yoga under the guidance of Maria Garre and Dr. Visant Lad. My lifelong study of indigenous healing modalities and my more recent work with plant medicine (Ayahuasca) in Costa Rica with Colombian Shaman Taita Juanito Chindoy Chindoy, has led me to a deeper understanding of the mind body connection of healing, health, and wellness.

I share my life with my loving husband Ron, our 5 grown children, and two smiling service dogs.

I split my time teaching retreats and classes between the two beautiful natural environments of Fairbanks, Alaska and Playa Buena Vista, Costa Rica. Come join me on this journey!
